RAW CHERRY RIPE BROWNIES

Raw Cherry Ripe Brownies

This little gem is gluten free and crazy pants delish! Next time the Binge Monster sneaks up on you from behind and scares the what-nots out of you, tell him to go attach himself to someone else’s booty. Your new secret weapon for beating the binge has arrived!

 

Raw Cherry Ripe Brownies

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups medjool dates, pitted
  • ¼ cup organic coconut oil, melted
  • ¼ cup organic shredded coconut
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • ½ cup fresh cherries, de-pitted and halved (you can use preserved cherries other fruit if desired)
  • ¼ cup raw cacao nibs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Tiny pinch of salt (optional)

 

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Place your dates, walnuts, almond meal, cacao powder, shredded coconut, coconut oil, cherries and vanilla in the food processor and combine; add extra coconut oil if the mix is too dry.
  2. Next, stir in the cacao nibs and press the mix into a glass tray.
  3. Sprinkle with extra coconut (or icing sugar if you run out of coconut hahaa!) and dried cranberries and allow to set for 2 hours.
  4. Will store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Cacao is super rich in magnesium. In fact, drinking a cup of hot cacao before meals can help naturally reduce your appetite (plueease! As if we needed another reason to love chocolate!)
