This is part duo of a two-part episodeo (you can catch the first one here) so buckle in, honeys. You're about to take a wild ride!
If you're wondering if you have any of these red flags waving, you probably do! I'm about to give you seven signs you're an emotional eater aaaand what to do about it if you are.
CONFIDENCE IS AN XXL PART OF WEIGHT LOSS FOR EMOTIONAL EATERS
And remember, confidence is an XXL part of weight loss. Especially for emotional eaters because we feel so much SHAME around our behaviour with food that often shatters not only our confidence but our self-belief as well.
Try these steps after an emotional eating episode:
🦋 Don’t be an a$$ to yourself:
Girl, you are NOT alone in emotional eating hell🔥 Sooo many of us struggle with emotional eating and binging. We’re just not talking about it. Be gentle and compassionate with yourself. Avoid self-blame and self-criticism. They are bullsh^t and never EVAH result in long-term change.
🦋 Acknowledge the bullsh^t story you told yourself that started the eating to begin with:
Journaling can be a helpful way to express your feelings, thoughts, and the circumstances that led to the binge. This can help you gain insight into your triggers.
🦋 Don’t fkn panic:
Instead of going on a restrictive diet immediately after a binge, go right back to regular eating. It can help you reconnect with your body’s hunger and fullness cues.
P.S. If you need help and support working through this, drop a comment below or hit my DM's. I got chuuuu! xo
