What you do today, determines your tomorrow’s
Or should I say, what you EAT today, determines how you feel about yourself tomorrow.
If what they say is true, that you are the sum of what you repeatedly do, then I guess it makes sense that my butt kinda resembles a Betty Crocker pancake. Lord knows, I’ve eaten enough of them in my life to have earned it.
But when you’re done with the Sunday night choc-fest and the Monday morning “fresh starts”, how do you create new habits? You know, ones that will actually stick?
If the “how to” of habit creation has you in a tail spin, then today is your lucky day!
Watch today’s episode to get my fail proof system for creating habits that stick like (oddly delicious) burnt toffee

Keep Yo Eye On The WHY
Yeah, yeah.. you’ve heard it all before. Know your WHY. You can’t succeed unless you know WHY you want it. And sure, it’s true. But what they don’t tell you to to connect your WHY with something you’re passionate about. Just saying you want to lose weight is great (see what I did there? How I made that rhyme?) until you come face to face with a tub of ice cream and then you’re fancy WHY crumbles like the broken cookies that you’re sprinkling on your ice cream. Give your WHY some oomph! Connect it with something you really care about. Think of your children, your family, your career… how can you give your WHY so much emotion, that the thought of eloping with Ben & Jerry becomes a hazy, chocolate coated memory?
Examine Your Sitch
Want in on the 3 key questions to your long term success? Well, good thing for you I’ve recorded them below for you! Before you even attempt to create a life over-haul, look at what you already have going on and assess:
- What do you need to START doing?
- What do you need to STOP doing?
- What do you need to KEEP doing?
And then, Implement your Plan and Assess the Progress, man. Measure your results. If things aren’t working for you, check out why? Have you over committed yourself? Tried to change too much, too fast? It’s important to go at your own pace. This is not a competition. This is your life. Creating new habits is about making your life and your body and your relationship with food more comfortable, not so prickly that you want to roll around naked in Doritos.
What’s the No. 1 habit you want to create or eliminate?
Shout it out in the comments below and then…
Share this with your bestie because it’s funner than rolling around, naked, in Doritos.
Big Love!
