It doesn’t make you WEIRD. You’re not ABNORMAL. Binge eating is very, VERY common, especially amongst women.

Firstly, what is binge eating?
Binge eating can mean different things to different people. For some, eating three cookies might be a binge, while for others (like myself), a binge looks more like large quantities of food usually, the unhealthy kind, eaten quickly and/or waaaay past the point of being full.
How Do You Stop Binge Eating?
How do you stop binge eating? Binge eating isn’t something you can turn on and off. It’s your MO to stress (or perceived stress), fear, uncertainty and sometimes even joy. And while binge eating may not be NORMAL, it is normal for YOU, so the first step is to stop judging yourself. You’re not “bad” or “out of control”, you’re simply following the same pattern you’ve followed thousands of times before.
