Today we’re talking about how to follow through with your new year’s resolutions.
Let's start with the fact that 2023 has clicked over and possibly nothing has changed. New year, new me is bs!! – new year, same me, but better – you are evolving past the old version of you.
How to become a more robust player in 2023…
1.Start by analysing your previous downfalls:
2.Was it a time issue?
3.Was it a procrastination issue?
4.Was it a ‘life happens’ issue?
What can you learn from it and how can you use that to change your results this year? You can make excuses all day long but you will never change unless you take full ownership of why you’ve not taken action up to this point.
Your bounce-back rate:
If your work or friend culture is to party all weekend… what could you have done to bounce back quicker? We are not wired for self-control. And you don’t always want to be!!! (party, immerse in the moment!! Make memories!!) but what is your bounce-back rate?
You will never evolve past the previous version of yourself if you refuse to take responsibility for them! Remember, habits are not a magic wand! They are a ripple effect.
