If you need a little more “zing” in your day, these Raw Energy Bars are for you!

This recipe  is so easy to make you wont believe it!

What to do:

Mash 3 large bananas and 6 medjool dates in your food processor, add 1/4 C Chia seeds soaked in 300ml of water, cinnamon, cacao nibs, sultanas, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and black sesame seeds, crushed walnuts, shredded coconut (lots!) and a little bit of grated lemon rind. Keep adding nuts and seeds until it makes a nice thick mixture. Spread the mix on dehydrator sheets (or oven trays if you plan to bake them) and dehydrate overnight (or bake at medium temp until firm).

These Raw Energy Bars are great for that afternoon snack attack and will last up to four weeks in the fridge.
