STRAWBERRY WEIGHT LOSS SMOOTHIE
Today I’m revealing one of my trade secrets for healthy weight loss, my Four Ingredient Strawberry Weight Loss Smoothie
This little gem makes a fantastic snack between meals. You can even top it off with your favourite superfoods to rev up your metabolism and turn your gorgeous body into a fat burning machine!
How It’s Done:
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1-2 teaspoons organic honey (depending on how sweet you like it)
- 1-2 tablespoons of chia seeds (depending on how thick you like it)
Just throw all the ingredients into your blender and blitz away!
Top with whatever you have handy in the pantry. Shredded coconut, goji berries, pumpkin seeds and even a sprinkle of gluten free muesli always works well for me!
I’m definitely a huge fan of chia. It thickens in water creating a naturally “full” sensation in your stomach, perfect to stave off those mid-afternoon munchies.
On a nutritional level, chia contains more calcium than milk, more iron than spinach, plus all eight essential amino acids making it nature’s perfect protein.
