I’m a HUGE fan of Indian cuisine!
Last weekend my family and I went out for dinner to the most delicious Indian restaurant and this was the entree that was ordered… Fried onion slices!
Were they organic? Nope.
We’re they low salt? Cooked in healthy coconut oil? Nope and nope.
Were they delicious? OH YEAH!
So why am I telling you this?
Because I want you to know that it’s OKAY to break the rules.
It’s OKAY to eat “regular” foods if that’s what YOU want to do.
Everything doesn’t have to be 100% organic, pesticide free, superfood endorsed ALL THE TIME.
Be FREE enough within yourself to eat WHAT you want, WHEN you want it.
It’s time to Ditch the Diet and SET YOURSELF FREE!
It’s Time To Break The Rules
Now, I could have shown you a photo of the few strands of stray lettuce that adorned the side of the plate and did the whole “there’s always a way to eat healthy when eating out.” spiel.
I could have told you I sipped on green tea while my family ate naan bread.
But I didn’t.
Because that’s not how it went down.
YES I ate the fluffy, super refined naan bread.
YES I ate the white, hyper glutinous rice.
AND YES… I ENJOYED EVERY MOUTHFUL.
It’s time to give your body the love and the space to enjoy plenty of whole food lovin’, but KNOW that there’s NOTHING WRONG with enjoying other foods too.
